Whatever obstacle, we never falter
We always cling on to one another
Whether in happiness or in sorrow
We leave the lights on 'til tomorrow
It has long been in our blood

When the Katipuneros fought for our freedom
And people power ended the tyrannical kingdom
We've been tested again and again
Not to mention Ondoy and Pepeng that left us massive stain
But we prove the world we could survive heavy rain
Through our helping hands that could soothe all the pain
How precious it is to have this value
"Bayanihan" works best for us, me and you
It's like living by the famous line of Ninoy
I believe so 'cause I'm a proud Pinoy
